Alright, I don’t know how to present this so it doesn’t sound too personal, but something has happened to me, and all I’m allowed to do is lay in bed for at least another week. Ok, occasional trips to kitchen are allowed, but I cannot even dream about doing outfit shots :( (also because my face is smashed, but that’s again getting too personal) Anyway, this is a little wish list post I’ve put together while downloading massive amounts of music, and desperately searching for good movies to watch. Maybe you have some suggestions? And talking about wish lists, I am now on Fashiolista as well so if you would like to follow me on there, that’s great! I just think it’s a great way to share all the gems we’ve found!

How is your weekend going, guys? I’m off tomorrow and Monday so Alejandro and I are going out of town. I’m really looking forward to relaxing with no phones or internet (mostly because we usually don’t have service where we’re going).

Not! I dress like a tomboy much more often than once year. More like once a day. So to make this post a little more likable, I’m also showing you the pictures that I got the color inspirations from. Blue+brown=pretty (pictures via froufouu, cocorosa) 

And why thrift Wednesdays? Well because this cardigan was thrifted. Obviously. But even more so because Beach & Dress now has a vintage online shop!!! So I have a question for you guys… Have you ever tried or have any opinion about the raw food diet? I always like to research and adapt healthy eating habits and this is something I have been stumbling upon lately. I did it for a day, and obviously, for a day it was very easy. Specially because I love fruit. And weirdest thing was that my friend and I went to a cafe that day (I was going to have just green tea), and turns out they have raw food nights every Thursday. There is a whole menu of drink, appetizer, dinner and even desert choices. I realize this diet has been around for years, but I didn’t know it was that popular. Any experiences?

Maybe some of you noticed that I was not posting for a little longer than usual. I was taking a little break from blogging and checking other blogs because sometimes it can take up so much of my time, I loose motivation to develop in other areas of my life. And even though I have nothing to show for it, this break has been very productive and enlightening. Now I have new energy and inspiration, and I’m super pumped to post again. I would like to encourage you to do the same. Not necessarily say “no” to blogs, but just pick anything that takes up a lot of your time (maybe facebook?) and try not to do that for a week or so. You will be surprised how much time you will have left for all those other things you should but never have time to do :)

This weekend has been very special for me. I attended Encounter Retreat with couple members of my church, and I just feel so refreshed, and excited for what’s to come for my future. God is freedom and no one will convince me of the opposite. Here is a song that expresses my feelings the best right now. Thrift Wednesdays

Yes, this is second Wednesday in a row that I feel a compulsive need to go thrifting. Why? Because, as it turns out, on Wednesdays everything is half off at Salvation Army.
