Beach and Dresses on BEACH & DRESS / GULF SHORES, AL

Yes, finally there are dresses and beach on Beach & Dress. Last weekend Alejandro, his family and I went to a small town by Gulf of Mexico called Gulf Shores, AL. Needless to say, we had a beautiful family time  and I didn’t take as many pictures, as I thought I would be. But here are some.

These two pictures above are pictures from a really cool hangout spot that is called exactly that - The Hangout.  It’s place with a restaurant, live music, games, bar on the beach, etc. 

I just love the beach culture.

And there is something magical about weird angles and palm trees.

We also spent couple days in Atlanta, but those turned out to be more like a shopping trip. I had nothing against that.

Also, just so you know because it’s SO important that you do, I have bangs now. I just felt like it’s the right season… big knit sweaters and bangs. Pictures soon to come.

Cheap Monday

Lately I’ve been too lazy to express myself in writing. And this is bad because I don’t talk that much either :) However, Alejandro and I are going to Atlanta on Friday for 6 days, and we might visit the nearby beach for couple days also so I should have energy to think after this mini vacation. I’ll probably post some pictures during our trip too.

Until then here are some pictures of my dress from Cheap Monday. I wore it for the second day of the Ingenuity Fest.

Ingenuity Fest 2011

Here are just a few pictures of Ingenuity Festival in Cleveland. This is from Friday night. Yes, the night when Washed Out was there.

Lately I’ve been very interested in making videos because pictures often cannot reveal the feel of an event. Hence I took some video footage. Please, excuse the poor quality and Photoshop signage over the video. I am just now starting to learn how to edit a video, and I figured using a trial would be appropriate. I promise, I’ll get better.

Kahlo It Is!

Now is the time when every other blog post most likely will include S/S 2012  designer collections. I wasn’t sure if I was going to do a post like that, but then I came across an Australian brand Kahlo, and I just couldn’t resist. So today the spotlight is being shined on this beautiful, a bit futuristic collection designed by Fay and Rachelle. They have also picked the perfect model for this lookbook - Anja Konstantinova.

I also wanted to mention that Ingenuity Fest In Cleveland starts tonight at 5pm, and Washed Out is going to be there!!! Do I even have to tell you how excited I am?

Here is my outfit from yesterday. Alejandro discovered this beautiful place in the park on Saturday, and as soon as he got home he announced that would be the place for our next shoot. Since my shirtdress is so simple, I guess, it’s good I have something pretty in the background. And yes, once again I have found something I’ll be wearing a lot. This dress is so practical and simple. Love it.
